Malian photographer Malick Sidibé captured young Africans dancing joyfully on the rhythms of the twist, the cha cha cha and rock ‘n roll; set against a backdrop of a new era for Mali after its independence from France in 1960. This publication accompanied an exhibition of the same name at Gallery Fifty One in Antwerp in 2016.
