Considered a classic of British documentary photography, Tom Wood's first book consists of photographs taken at the Chelsea reach nightclub in New Brighton, Merseyside from 1984 to 1987. Almost like a fly on the wall, Wood was taking photographs of young people enjoying themselves during a bleak time for those in the north of England. Wood didn't just want this to be a series for commercial reasons and would pin up the photographs he took on a notice board for people to take.
