A visual and verbal documentary of 1980s New York City police. For six months two patrolmen were followed, interviewed and photographed both as they patrolled the neighbourhoods around Times Square and when they go off duty. Through Putterman's lens the reader is given access to the raw world of a New York "cop" through the different environments the work in and in text they reflect upon their experiences.
