Mermelstein's photographs encapsulate the wild and wackiness of New York City. Shot between 1987 and 1999 he would walk the streets of Manhattan daily,  capturing candid moments of human idiosyncrasy and behaviour. Every image in the book grabs your attention like very few others can.
