After photographing how the working class spend their free time, Parr's next publication explored how the middle class (or the 'comfortable class' as Parr coined) spent theirs. Photographed during the height of Thatcherite Britain it contrasts with the riots, unemployment and strikes of the time and instead shows those who benefitted during these tumultuous times.
