This cult 90's book features photographs of how those in urban Japan really live. Tsuzuki the spent more than two years traversing the many neighbourhoods of the country’s capital in an extraordinary effort to capture authentic homes that he felt truly represented the city’s residents. This was an attempt to counter the western imagination's essentialist stereotype of minimalist Japanese interiors.
